MANDATORY WHEN:

• Handling, installation, and demolition of sheet metal
• Working with any material that poses an exceptional risk of laceration
• All Craft 2 workers shall carry gauntlets

• Shall be worn for all overhead work, which may include, but is not limited to grinding, cutting, or drilling into overhead cement, fireproofing, or other material that can produce a fine dust substance. Face shields are also required when operating powder actuated tools.

• ANSI rated Cut Resistant Level 3 Gloves.
• Leather gloves when conducting hot work tasks.

• Ball caps can be worn when hard hats are not required.

• Although the pull-down glasses found on Type II (helmet) hard hats are advertised as ANSI z87.1 compliant, McKenney’s requires traditional safety glasses.

• Steel or composite toe might be required based on project rules and regulations.
